Information Forum 24/5/12.
The Department of Education and Communities (DEC) is introducing Local Schools Local Decisions; Every Student Every School and Building Communities to a public schools across the coast and across the state. You may have seen some recent publicity around these new directions for NSW public schools.

The Central Coast Council of Parent and Citizens’ Associations (CCCP&C) is joint host with DEC who will be presenting a forum this Thursday 24 May, to assist parents and carers across the Central Coast in their understanding of the changes these programs and initiatives bring to your school and to the public education system in NSW. Compromise on School Zone Safety Endangering Central Coast Students.
The CCC P&C notes the recent announcement by NSW Premier, Barry O’Farrell and NSW Minister for Roads, Duncan Gay, regarding an increase in flashing lights for School Zones in Regional Areas, and supports our local NSW Government MPs, Chris Hartcher, Darren Webber, Chris Spence and Chris Holstein in their continued push for increased safety around Central Coast Schools and the expansion of the flashing light installation program. Download.
